Why do I get goosebumps when I'm not cold?

Goosebumps minus cold are the fight-or-flight reflex answering emotion - music, awe, fear, memory. Normal wiring. Goosebumps with fever and chills, or with feeling genuinely unwell, are the pattern to act on.

- Pair with fever? Take your temperature - chills with goosebumps suggest infection.
